A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide leave coverage in an elementary school setting located in Minneapolis, MN. This position serves both general and special education settings, specifically at the Westwood Intermediate level (grades 5-8). The assignment is a full-time, long-term substitute role running from March through June 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students in general and special education.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Utilize creative planning and organizational techniques to support student progress.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school personnel to ensure positive outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctorate degree (M.A./M.S. or Ph.D.) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Minnesota State Licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Strong creative planning and organizational skills.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
